The project will be implemented on the premises of Wojewódzki Park Kultury i Wypoczynku im. gen. Jerzego Ziętka S.A. (Silesia Park) in Chorzów.

Project description

The program will include 52 employees, 13 of which are aged 50 and more: administrative and office employees, “Elka” cableway staff and employees responsible for the green spaces, with specific needs in terms of improving the ergonomics and safety of their workplaces, and learning methods of eliminating health risks in the workplace. All employees in the target group are employed on part-time or full-time basis.

The main objective of the project is to provide access to health prevention measures which facilitate staying at work by implementing actions to eliminate the health risk factors.

 

Detailed objectives:

- Promoting health-oriented attitudes in the community.
- Reducing early morbidity and limiting negative effects of chronic diseases of the skeletal and muscular system.
- Ensuring high employment rates.

 

Indicators:

The number of persons aged 50 and above included in the programme - 13.
The number of people who took up work or continued their employment after the completion of the project - 50.

 

Tasks in the project:

Project value: PLN 250,089.15

EU funds contribution: 85%, i.e. PLN 212,575, as per the contract.

Implementation period: from 1 March 2019 to 29 February 2020.
