The task “Construction of the multifunctional administrative and educational building in the Silesian Zoo” will be implemented by Przedsiębiorstwo Inżynieryjno–Budowlane BUDECON SA. The pavilion which currently houses the offices of the Silesian Zoo, will be dismantled and a new administrative and educational building will be built in vicinity. The new head office will be a modern, two-storey building with plenty of glazings, wood and exposed concrete, and direct access from Leśna avenue. The new building will have nearly 900 sq. m and a special room for practical biology classes. When the new head office is complete, the old building will be dismantled. The construction works should start in January 2021 and are scheduled to be completed by spring 2022.
