You are the Silesia Park and would like to find out what’s happening, but you don’t have a device with internet connection with you? Infoboxes provide the answer.

The devices were installed in the Park in the first half of 2012. The infoboxes can be found in the key locations in the Park: at the management building, “The Hat” Exhibition Centre, the entrance gate to the zoo, the entrance to the Theme Park, and at the Silesian Planetarium. The infoboxes were financed by the EU from the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Programme of the Silesian Voivodeship for 2007–2013.

Infoboxes are self-service electronic devices providing information or advertising services. The devices installed in the Park have touchscreens and are connected to the internet, allowing the user to browse the World Wide Web through the dedicated browser.

The device software also allows the user to send e-mails. The infoboxes are operated by touchscreen, with on-screen keyboard available for writing.
