The construction works on the lighting system in the Forest Avenue, which is the longest walkway in the Silesia Park, are nearing completion. The 1.5 km-long section from the intersection with the Access Avenue to the private parking lot at “Villa Gardena” restaurant will now have lighting. The investment project included installing 56 lamp posts, each 8 m high.
The lamp power is 54 W. “With the new lamps, the Forest Avenue will become fully accessible after dark,” says Agnieszka Bożek, President of the Board of the Silesia Park. “Obviously, the lighting will make visitors in this part of the Park feel much safer,” she adds.
Light will be provided by advanced energy-saving LEDs.
